WE HAVE A CALL TO ACTION

The chakra rainbow is your link.

We breathe in and out. There is so much more.

The old in and out can be pushed and focused in ways to add value, integrity, and power to our breathing practice. Creating a new relationship with not only our lungs but fuel for energy.

We will explore 3 types of breathing.

ANAPANA (natural breath)

KUMBHAKA (retention breathing)

BHRAMARI (humming bee breath)

The chakra rainbow is your link.

For some insane reason, meditation has been given the wrap of incense, hippies, silence, and taking a ton if time… and it can be all the bells and whistles or none of the above.

Meditation is available to all, just like breathing. meditation or the act of meditating is focusing our thoughts or creating a higher state of awareness.

We will explore 2 type of meditation.

VIPASSANA

GRATITUDE

The chakra rainbow is your link.

Week three comes along, we recognize stillness works. Stillness inside of an asana is priceless. Our bodies need to stretch, lengthen, push, and pull.

The practice of mindful breathing, focused thought, now combining movement.

We will explore 6 asanas.

CHILDS ASANA : BRIDGE ASANA

SEPARATE LEG STRETCHING 1/2 MOON : BUTTERFLY ASANA

SEPARATE LEG STRETCH FOREHEAD TO KNEE : PIGEON

She’d sigh and say,
“I should be grateful.
I have a good enough life here.
It’s crazy to long for what doesn’t exist.”
I’d say : Tabitha, You are not crazy,
You are a goddamn cheetah.
— Glennon Doyle

First, it is an intention.
Then a behavior.
Then a habit.
Then a practice.
Then a second nature.
Then it is simply who you are.
— Brendon Burchard

MIND + BODY + SOUL

One on One

Spending time one on one with Coach Kate (me), whether by Zoom or in person. Crafting and creating new energy channels through movement, meditation, and mindfulness.

One on one with me is not always burpees for an hour… I PROMISE. because some days we need to a human to tell us that we are worthy, loved, and perfect… cellulite and all….

Group Sessions

Yoga, Pilates, Strength, Mobility, Body Composition, Y12SR, Movement Meditation, Pranayama, Relapse Prevention, Body Image Perception, Cancer Recovery… and more. I miss teaching to a group of people so much. My wish is that studios would not be so competitive and just allow for us teachers be able to teach where ever we want…..

and then there is the whole i’m not everyone’s cup of tea….

Kissmek8 Cases

Pillowcases! ok.. truth.. I love hobbies, i love sewing, i love making EVERYTHING. I made KissMeK8 30 years ago and I’ve used it ever since as my overriding projects (they might or might not suck.) Over Christmas 2020 I was able to sell a few sets of cases. (and then I gave the rest away).

Facing East

Mission: to expand the yoga community in areas of functional movement, creative mindfulness, and worthwhile meditation alongside providing enhancement, development, and financial means, for teachers to assist in the yoga community as a whole.

If Facing East speaks to you in any way. Please reach out. I would love to get as many folks moving on this a humanly possible!!

Accountability Partner

Holding ourselves accountable is hard. Allowing me to help you hold yourself accountable is way less hard. An accountability partner has been life changing for so many of my clients; our life partners are not allowed to tell us we are making bad financial choices… but I can. Not even kidding. if you need an endorsement from one of my current Accountability clients, let let me know.

Tribe/Challenges

Sometimes we just need to know someone is out there, going through the same stuff. Being part of the Tribe allows access to not only me, but each other. Like-minded souls putting one foot in front of the other. Challenges allow us to not only know we are out there together but separate. but we are in the same trajectory.. We are focusing on the same things, maybe reading the same book, leaning in on different ways to breathe. or even step away from responding the same way we always have.
